Partnerships

WCHA is a 501 (c) 3 federally recognized non-profit charity open to working with other individuals and organizations.

Partnerships with Co-ops

Part of WCHA’s mission is to provide information and support to co-ops just starting the process of building a cooperative community. We hope others can learn from our experiences, and share their energy and success with us.

We also understand that communities don’t happen magically and newer co-ops may need help with the nuts and bolts of co-op housing — its processes and structures.

If you are newer co-op — or are just thinking about starting one — feel free to contact us. We’ll do what we can!

Partnerships with Community Organizations

Many of our residents have been and are involved with community and sustainability activism including Carrboro Greenspace, Croatan Earth First!, Crop Mob, Go Conscious Earth, Internationalist Books, Piedmont Biofuels, and SEEDS.
